How does it work?
The principle of hair removal is the theory of selective photothermolysis (SPTL), which was published by Anderson and Parrish
in Science magazine, in 1983. The theory interprets lasers as a method of producing localized tissue damage leaving the
surrounding tissues unaffected.
This means that if we apply appropriate wavelength light to the treatment area, melanin in hair follicles, rather than other tissues,
will be selected to absorb the light, and then convert light into heat energy. Hair follicles that support hair growth will be destroyed,
resulting in hair loss or permanent hair removal.
