How does it work?
The principle of hair removal is the theory of selective photothermolysis (SPTL), which was published by Anderson and Parrish
in Science magazine, in 1983. The theory interprets lasers as a method of producing localized tissue damage leaving the
surrounding tissues unaffected.
This means that if we apply appropriate wavelength light to the treatment area, melanin in hair follicles, rather than other tissues,
will be selected to absorb the light, and then convert light into heat energy. Hair follicles that support hair growth will be destroyed,
resulting in hair loss or permanent hair removal.
Why 808nm?
The ideal wavelength for hair removal should be mostly absorbed by melanin, not by other tissues (like water, oxyhemoglobin, etc).
808nm wavelength semiconductor laser goes through our skin and directly arrives at the melanin in the hair follicle with little
absorbed by other tissues. The heat energy transformed from the light will burn and destroy only follicles, so as to avoid skin
burn and lessen skin hyper-pigmentation. It is safe and effective.
Comfortable and Pain-Free
A cooling system is critical to a laser hair removal device, it is related to customer experience and device service life. A good
cooling system protects your skin from pain, redness, burns, and hyper-pigmentation.
Suitable for All Skin Types and Body Parts
is safe, effective, and pain-free for permanent hair removal on all six skin types, including dark skin.
It is suitable for any unwanted hair removal on different body parts, like the face, armpits, arms, chest, back, bikini and legs.
WHAT TO CONSIDER AFTER A TREATMENT
There may be some redness after the treatment. It should disappear after one or two days. To prevent this redness, you can
take care of your skin, such as calming aloe vera or chamomile.
Intense sunbathing or solarium should be avoided as the strong light treatment will temporarily remove the natural UV radiation
protection of your skin. It is highly recommended to apply a sun blocker on your treated skin.
BEFORE THE LASER TREATMENT
Before a treatment with the diode laser, waxing or epilating the hair must be absolutely avoided. With such hair removal methods,
the hair is removed with its hair root and therefore are not treatable anymore.
When shaving the hair there is not such a problem since the hair is cut off above the skin surface. Here the essential connection
to the hair root is still intact. Only this way light beams can get to the hair root and a successful permanent hair removal can be
achieved. If this connection is interrupted, is takes about 4 weeks for the hair to reach its growth phase again and is treatable.
Pigment or moles are covered before each treatment or get completely omitted. The reason for this is that there is a high level
of melanin in the stains.
Tattoos are also left out with every treatment, otherwise it may cause colour changes.
FAQ
Q: Does Diode laser hair removal painful?
A: Diode laser hair removal is painless. Premium cooling system ensures highly effective
cooling, which is used to protect treated areas. It is fast, painless and on top of all safe, unlike
Alexandrite or other monochromatic lasers. Its laser beam acts selectively on the hair’s
regenerating cells, something that makes it safe for the skin. Diode lasers cannot harm the skin,
do not have side effects and can be operated on every part of the human body.
Q: Does Diode Laser work on all skin types?
A: Diode Laser uses 808nm wavelength and can safely and successfully treat all skin types,
including dark pigmented skin.
Q: How often should I do Diode Laser?
A: At the beginning of the treatment course, treatments should be repeated 4-6 weeks Towards
